Description:

Enter a world of unbridled passion, harrowing adventure, and

12th-century Persian prince. Prince of Persia 3-D springs to life with
fluid animation, devious traps, and an
elegantly simple interface for running,
jumping, climbing, and sword fighting. Journey through seven
environments,
including an opulent Persian palace, an exciting air ship, and Tibetan cliffs.

Players
assume the role of the Prince of Persia, who's once again forced to
fight through an increasingly difficult set of
areas to track down the
kidnapped Princess. During the adventure, you'll battle guards, bandits, and
other
evil henchman while utilising a varied selection of bow weaponry. Crafty
level design ensures plenty of familiar
lever, floor panel, and rope-swinging
puzzles. (Watch out for those spike traps!) Manoeuvring the Prince within
the
new 3-D environment is perhaps the only minor gripe; lining up jumps and
navigating tunnels with the
sometimes too-fast Prince can become a tricky
endeavour. Boasting startling 3-D graphics, dazzling levels, and
familiar,
easy-to-learn gameplay, Prince of Persia 3D should both delight old fans and
collect many new
ones.

QuickTime is a required
component to play the in-game movies. Newer versions of
QuickTime or QuickTime Alternative can be used instead of
v4.0 which comes with
the game. The installation of DirectX v6.1 and Windows Media Player can be
skipped on
modern systems.

Burning instructions:

Burn the images with CloneCD or Alcohol 120% (choose RAW DAO
method).

Mounting instructions:

Mount the images with DAEMON Tools, Alcohol or other virtual drive
software.

v1.01 patch instructions (skip this step if you want to use the crack):

The v1.01 patch
has a bug, which installs all the files into the Windows
directory by default. To install the v1.01 patch properly,
follow one of the
two solutions below:

Solution 1 (recommended, for beginners):

Extract
PoP3D_Unpacked_Patch_v1.01.rar into the installation folder (make
sure to overwrite all existing files).

Solution 2 (advanced, may not work on Windows 64-bit):

01. Run regedit;
02. Open
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWARERed OrbPrince of Persia 3D1.0";
03. Add a new string value named
"Directory";
04. Edit the added string value and change it to the directory where the game
    has
been installed in;
05. Apply the v1.01 patch (POP3Dpatch1_01.exe).

Unprotected POP3D.exe
instructions:

Use the unprotected POP3D.exe in case you experience problems with the SafeDisc
protection
on modern systems. The v1.01 patch must be installed first. Please
note that CD2 is still required in the drive.

This file was unprotected with Safedisc Annihilator v1.1.

Crack instructions:

Use the
included v1.01 crack to play without disc.

01. Install the game;
02. Copy the audio, DATA and Geometry
folders from CD2 to the installation
    folder;
03. Extract the file pop3dcrc.zip into the installation
folder (make sure to
    overwrite all existing files);
04. Play the game without disc.

There is no
need to apply the v1.01 patch before using this crack (the v1.01
files are included). Read Instructions.nfo for
more information.
